As part of a last ditch campaign against the forces of evil, we see mankind rally once again. The forces of Chaos have enslaved, destroyed, or suppressed everyone who opposes them, bringing about The End Times. I recently got the first hands-on opportunity with Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin and I’m happy to report that it’s shaping up to be one of the good ones.Ī return to RTS, Realms of Ruin takes place in, as you’d guess, the Age of Sigmar. For every riveting adventure in the Warhammer universe, there are half a dozen that feel more like shovelware. After unlocking a character, Master Hand creates bubbles blocking the other two characters which disappear when the player defeats at least one boss or can disappear individually if the player finds a route to defeat the blocked fighters.We are spoiled for choice in the world of Warhammer, but not all of those choices are good. The spirits are mostly of neutral types, so players can familiarize with Spirit battles. This is where the player starts the game. ![]()
